Sound familiar?

  • Writing the same packing list before every trip.
  • One person remembering everything for everyone.
  • Realising what you forgot three hours down the road.

Fred’s List remembers it for you, and helps you hand out the jobs.

How it works

  1. Tell Fred how you travel

Choose your setup and who’s coming along.

  2. Get your list

Fred builds your packing list, sorted by category. Change it however you like. It’s yours to keep.

  3. Plan each trip, stage by stage

Every trip moves from planning to packing, setting up, enjoying it, packing down and getting home.

  4. Check before you roll

Fred Check runs through the key reminders for your setup before you head off.

What’s inside

  • Your permanent packing list

Built around how you travel, organised by category, and kept for every trip.

  • Trips, stage by stage

Plan, Before You Go, Pack, Set Up, Enjoy, Pack Down and Home Reset, so you only see what matters now.

  • Stays and trip costs

Add each place you’re staying. A paid stay goes straight into the trip’s expenses, so you can see what’s left of your budget.

  • Grab List

Anything you need to buy or top up for a trip goes on one list.

  • Hand out the jobs

Add the people you travel with and give each item to the right person.

  • Fred Check

A final run-through of the key reminders for your setup before you’re Ready to Roll.

  • Going off-grid?

Staying somewhere without the usual power, water or facilities? Add extra items for that trip only.

  • Records with Dean

Keep rego, service and insurance dates, manuals and photos in one place. Fred shows what’s due soon when you open your records.

  • First aid kit check with Marie

Check your kit against Fred’s starter list. Anything you need to top up goes on your Grab List.

  • Emergency information

Quick access to 000 and 112. Marie keeps your emergency contacts close and links you to first-aid information from healthdirect, Australian Red Cross and St John Ambulance Australia.

  • Easy to read

Large text, strong contrast and simple steps throughout.

Hand out the jobs

Travel is a team effort. Add the people you travel with to your crew, and Fred shows who’s packing what.

  • Give each item to the right person
  • Change who’s doing what any time
  • No more one person remembering everything

One trip, many stays

A trip is the whole journey. Stays are the places along the way, each with its own dates and cost. Paid stays flow into the trip’s expenses automatically, once, so you can see what’s left of your budget.
